Education Specialist, Resource Specialist
Sandra Cadell
Sandra Cadell has been teaching children for over 20 years and working with special needs students for over 15 years. She has a dual credential in both Mild Moderate and students with Extreme Needs. Sandra started her work in Special Education as an Autism Support Specialist with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education’s flagship ASD program, Chrysalis. She was trained in the Morgan Center Model of Autism Support as well as 9+ years of heavy ASD behavior support training.
She entered the SPED teaching field as a Mod/Severe Middle School SDC teacher and has taught students from TK throughout High School with great success and still has strong ties and relationships with both students and families from her previous districts. Her relationships created strong links with these families and students from her past still reach out to continue social connections and to receive social support in the communities they live in.
She has brought her Special Education expertise to Lakeside and earned her second credential for Mild to Moderate Special Education to better support all Lakeside students and better support the MTSS all inclusive programs. Sandra also worked with the creators of the Inclusion Collaborative at their launch to help them to make the program’s site more accessible and user friendly.
Sandra uses her experiences and extensive knowledge and training to help all students at Lakeside. She supports all classrooms and includes all students in her programs where appropriate.

Annabelle Siino
Ms. Siino is a dual-certified teacher (special education and multiple subject – general education) with 11 years of experience in Pajaro Valley USD and San Lorenzo Valley USD, working with preschool to 3rd-grade students.

Unal Majid
Teaching is Ms. Majid's second career, having first worked as a software engineer in New York. She started her teaching journey as an Oak Grove School District substitute teacher, and worked with grades pre-K to 8th grade. She completed a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CalState TEACH and has spent the last 3 years as a full time teacher at Edenvale Elementary School. Ms. Majid believes that teachers have a profound impact on young minds, and that there is no process more important than that of educating our youth.
She has a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York,
1st/2nd Grade Teacher
Danielle Chabot
Ms. Chabot is a Felton native and currently resides in Santa Cruz. She recently graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a Master's in Education and multiple subject teaching credentials. Previously, Ms. Chabot spent nine years as a full-time ocean lifeguard for California State Parks. Her goal is for her students to explore and interact with the world around them, to problem solve and take risks and find multiple ways to solve problems. She desires to develop the whole child and for every student in her classroom to feel seen, heard, and valued during every moment of our time together.

Kaelyn Hsu
Ms. Hsu has been teaching for six years and has taught in both the third and fourth grades. She also has experience as a student teacher and volunteer in the first and fifth grades. Ms. Hsu is a proud San Jose State Spartan, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science for Multiple Subject Teaching as well as her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction.
