Absence Reporting
The District’s attendance and discipline policies and administrative regulations are meant to balance the rights of an individual student with those of the total school population. Regular attendance in school is mandatory for the student to gain the maximum benefit from his/her education; therefore, all absences are subject to verification by school officials.
To be tardy means not being at school for the start of the flag salute, which is what we have consistently monitored. Students will be sent to the office for a late pass if tardy.

If your child will be absent from school, please notify the school:

If your child will be absent for illness, please indicate their symptoms when notifying the school. (NOTE: If any of the symptoms indicated are similar to those of COVID-19, they will be required to attest to a negative COVID-19 test in order to return to school. You will be notified to complete the COVID-19 Negative Test Attestation Form prior to their return.)
